A Major Case of Spring Fever!

I'm so ready to be done with school, ever since the week before spring break I've been struggling to remain focused and not just throw the towel in! I didn't do as well as I hoped I would on my last Dental Hygiene exam which hopefully has given me the swift kick in the right direction that I've been needing this month. I'm trying to focus on school while not overthinking the rest of my life. I have a very big tendency to overthink things you know. My mind will blow one little word or bit of silence or facial expression way out of proportion sometimes so I'm just trying to not worry about anything except for studying and keeping myself stress-free and relaxed. ...not too relaxed of course! To everyone else suffering from the lack of motivation that seems to take over toward the end of spring semester: hang in there, only a few more weeks and then it will be summer and school will be over! However, don't forget to enjoy the experience along the way. Don't get yourself into such a routine that you can't break out and do something spontaneous every once in a while. I've found that most people love surprises and instead of waiting around for someone to come along and surprise you, go out, be proactive, and surprise yourself! Also, please drive carefully in the snow :)

Spring Break!

I'm so glad I have a nice break now where I can catch up on all the cleaning I've been neglecting this semester and actually work out and have fun with my family... at least until Thursday when I'm going to Las Vegas with Colby and his family (minus Jason). I'm way excited for Vegas to get to spend some good time with him and his family and get to know them all a bit better. For now, I've got to go cross-country skiing with my family, Bear's getting pretty anxious from just sitting around the house while we all clean today. It's good for him to work on his patience though :)

Puppy Sitting

Today is the second day of taking care of Britney's puppy Tankers and boy has it been interesting. There will be times when Bear (my dog) and Tankers are best friends and it's impossible to separate them and then suddenly Bear will get tired of playing with him and turns all mean and snarly on the poor puppy. The funniest thing was the first night. I got home with Tankers at 10:20 and by 10:30 they were wrestling and rolling and playing all over each other. Then I got into my bed at 11:00 with two crazy puppies wrestling in my bed on top of me which they did for an hour straight!!! The only reason they stopped was because I put Tankers in the kennel to go to bed and so then he was crying to be let out and Bear was laying next to the kennel crying because he wanted to play more. They finally went to sleep after I sang every song I could remember to calm them both down, just to have both of them wake up again at 2:30AM! Then I put Bear in my parents room and neither of them really slept after that but at least I didn't get woken up again until 7:00... They were acting like two overly sugared kids at a sleepover! They were both a little grumpy yesterday (especially Bear) which just made me laugh because it was definitely not my fault that they were tired the crazy pups!

Welcome!

So I'm sure that if any of my friends have been reading my blog, they've been pretty bored of sifting through all the lame Dental Hygiene posts I'm required to put on there so this is my attempt to fix that. This is my life, and I'm definitely loving it so hopefully you will too.
